Ash Wednesday Action. Gather at 11.45am at the foot of the Old Cathedral steps.

Liverpool Pax Christi will lead a public act of repentance for our possession and intended use of the nuclear weapon.
In Liverpool city centre
There will be a liturgy with ashes and a special focus on the nuclear ban treaty.

Clear message at MoD, London during Ash Wednesday witness
London: Start 3.00pm. Meet in Whitehall Gardens (closest to Embankment station.) and process around the Ministry of Defence to the front at Horseguards Avenue. Organised by Pax Christi, Christian CND and London Catholic Worker.
We are thrilled to share the news that Pax Christi and London Catholic Worker are hosting Kate Hennessy, the grand-daughter of Dorothy Day. Kate will be speaking about her book and about her grandmother.
Kate will also be signing copies of her book: ‘The World Will be Saved by Beauty’.

Pax Christi member with an image of a peacemaker who inspires her
International Women’s Day Event
An afternoon for women in the Nottingham Diocese, who care about peace. Women attending may be Pax Christi members/supporters, but don’t have to be! Women from other places and other denominations are very welcome too.
We will meet in the Hall for refreshments and greetings. Then Pax Christi Director, Theresa Alessandro will lead us in an invigorating, reflective time in the church, with readings from women peacemakers and shared prayer.
We will return to the Hall for more refreshments and a chance to talk with each other.
The event will finish at 4.15 pm but you are welcome to stay for the parish Mass at 5pm.
The event is organised jointly by Pax Christi and Nottingham Diocese Justice & Peace Commission Chair, Patricia Stoat.
