Join us to hear from Aaron Humphriss who recently worked with the Holy See Mission to the UN in New York, on a disarmament and security brief. Join People Not Walls to find out why people including families with children, and unaccompanied young people, are taking to the seas and what’s happening on our closest borders, events perhaps encouraging them to do so. Listen to speakers and organisations from both sides of the Channel: Alexandra Limousin (‘L’Auberge des Migrants), Human Rights Observers, Kent Refugee Action Network Youth Ambassadors, Marie Charlotte Fabié (Safe Passage International), Secours Catholique, and others. Then zoom live to the seafront in Dover, to join Seeking Sanctuary and Rt Rev Dr Rose Hudson-Wilkin, Bishop of Dover, for the Commemoration at the plaques for the migrants who died trying to reach the UK.

Dialogue shaping the future of the UN
To commemorate 75 years since the signing of the UN charter, we are hosting a UN75 dialogue to join in the global conversation about challenges and aspirations for the future of peace. This is a stand-alone event although it follows our previous online discussion and prayer time on the Holy See Mission to the UN and the work of Pax Christi International’s UN representatives in New York. Contact us for the Zoom link: email@example.com If you can’t join us, add your voice by taking part in the UN survey. More about our event here.
Pax Christi members and friends will gather for a time of quiet prayer and reflection online in advance of the proposed annexation of Palestinian land by Israel on 1st July.
An event hosted by Yorkshire Sabeel.
Why is Donald Trump proposing this plan which most analysts believe is advantageous to Israel and problematic for Palestinians?
- Do the Palestinians have any real influence in the matter?
- To what extent is the Israeli position affected by demographic factors and is there support within Israel for annexing the whole of the West Bank?
- What about the status of Jerusalem?
- If Trump isn’t returned in November, how will that alter the situation?
Register via Eventbrite and Yorkshire Sabeel will send you the link.
