On 1st December at 7.30pm, we are joining NJPN in hosting an online webinar – ‘Christ Among the Ruins: Finding Hope in Gaza’s Darkness’.

The webinar will invite participants to reflect on how the Church understands and responds to the unfolding tragedy in Gaza: where we find Christ in the midst of devastation, and how we can bear faithful witness to peace, justice, and compassion in a world so deeply divided.

Together, we will listen to diverse voices — including perspectives from Activists both Christians & Jewish  – Peace Advocates, and Church Leaders — to explore how followers of Christ can pray, speak, and act with integrity. We will also consider practical steps for advocacy, including how to engage elected representatives and support those most affected by the conflict.

The speakers at the event are:

Liz Allcock – a humanitarian protection specialist for 20 years in international development and humanitarian sectors.

Robert Cohen – Chair of trustees for the human rights charity Amos Trust,

Sue McClellan – Church Engagement Lead at Embrace the Middle East and Associate Minister at Coventry Cathedral.

Ann Farr – former our former Chair and a member of Pax Christi International’s Working Group on a Just Peace for Palestine and Israel.
