Join us for the 35th year of Christian witness and resistance to nuclear war preparations in London, Liverpool & Glasgow
- London: Gather at 3.00pm Victoria Embankment Gardens Whitehall Section Nearest stations Embankment and Charing Cross .
- Procession in Horseguards Ave to Ministry of Defence.
Supported by CCND, London Catholic Worker and Pax Christi
The liturgy will involve prayer, song and symbolic actions using the symbols of the day.
In London there may be nonviolent civil disobedience in the form of marking the building with blessed charcoal during the day. Those who wish to take part in the these actions must contact the Pax Christi office for preparation .
- Pax Christi Liverpool. Meet 12.45 at the steps of St Luke’s Church, Berry Street. There will be a procession with pauses for prayer and reflection and distribution of ashes.
- Glasgow Catholic Worker will hold a vigil at South Gate of Faslane at 2.45 pm
