In this issue of Justpeace we welcome our new coordinator, Theresa Alessandro. Theresa has been a longstanding member of Pax Christi and recently joined the Executive committee where she has played an active role at meetings and in Pax Christi’s strategic planning.
Pat Gaffney takes a long view back over her 29 years as General Secretary. Pax Christi has seen some major changes and developments under Pat’s influential leadership but that key faithfulness to the Gospel teaching of peace remains at its very core. Pat reminds us that the changes ahead are an opportunity to create space for new thought and energy in the peace movement.
