Members of Pax Christi, the Fellowship of Reconciliation, J&P Scotland, the Church of Scotland and others gathered in Perth, Scotland to explore the theme of nonviolence and hear of the work of the Catholic Nonviolence Initiative.
Fr John Dear, writer, activist and campaigner gave a key-note presentation inviting participants to consider WHY we need to reclaim nonviolence in the context of the new political realities of a Trump administration and of a Church which has now affirmed, through the witness of Pope Francis, a commitment to nonviolence as a spiritual, practical and effective response to our broken world.
