Members of the student Pax Christi group at Trinity Catholic School in Leamington Spa wrote to their member of parliament, Chris White MP, to express their concern at the violence in the region. They were particularly concerned with the unjust arrest of Palestinians and the difficulties faced by Israeli Conscientious Objectors and urged the UK government to work hard to help secure a just and peaceful solution to the conflict.
Below is the response from Mr White together with a letter from him to his colleague Tobias Ellwood MP in the Foreign Office raising the students concerns with him. Hopefully we will be able to share the response from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in due course.
Wonderful work by Trinity’s brilliant Pax Christi group – congratulations!
