Ash Wednesday 14th February 2024. Walk of Witness for Peace, Repentance and Reconciliation.
Assemble from 1.15pm on steps of St Luke’s ‘bombed out church’ at the top of Bold St, Liverpool L1 2TR. The walk starts at 1.30pm, with Stations of the Cross at the Statue of Reconciliation, in Church St (where ashes will be distributed) Lord St and the Town Hall. We walk in support of the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons and for peace in Ukraine /Russia, Palestine/Israel and in our City.
