On Wednesday 14th January at 7.30pm the Alliance is hosting a webinar at which Richard Outram from NFLA will give an update on campaigns to persuade Local Authorities to support the TPNW and explain how to access online resources such as:
Templates for motions and letters.
Asking Councils to join Mayors for Peace, an international coalition of almost 8,500 municipalities
Asking the Council to pass a resolution in support of the ICAN Appeal calling on the UK Government to sign the UN Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons;
Asking the Council to support the Don’t Bank on the Bomb campaign
Calling on the Council to oppose new US nuclear weapons at ‘RAF’ Lakenheath and RAF Marham.
Highlighting the dangers posed to the public by Trident warhead convoys passing through their area
