Cambridge Friends of Standing Together - Public Meeting @ The Woolf Institute

Join Cambridge Friends of Standing Together  to hear the personal stories of three Cambridge residents who have lived and worked in Israel and Palestine.

Jalal Hajjaj
was born in Gaza and now lives in Cambridge. He is in constant contact with his family—his parents, siblings and nephews—in Gaza. He will talk about his family’s life in Gaza amid genocide, the destruction of Gaza and displacement of the Palestinians.

Anat Messing
lived in Tel Aviv before moving to Cambridge. She will talk about Gaza Support Network, a grassroots, people-to-people initiative, responding directly to the urgent humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Pippa Tagart
is a British nurse who lives in Cambridge and has worked internationally for an NGO for many years. Pippa will talk about her experiences on the West Bank, and the everyday difficulties experienced by Palestinian communities there.

The event is free, but admission is by ticket only. Pre-registration is essential
