Friends of the Holy Land
with grateful thanks to the Dean and Chapter of Coventry Cathedral invite you to
An Ecumenical Service on United Nations International Day of Peace

Wednesday 21st September at 5.15 p.m.

The Service will be led by Coventry Cathedral Choir and attended by the Bishop of Coventry, the Rt Revd Dr Christopher Cocksworth and the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Birmingham, the Most Rev Bernard Longley.

Whilst we are mindful of the areas of the world currently suffering the devastation of war and oppression, our mission is to support the Christians in the Holy Land where oppression and deprivation are endemic. In these challenging and dangerous times for Europe and the whole world, we hope you will be able to join us, as we reflect on the Gospel’s call for justice and peace, pray for the people of the Holy Land whom we strive to support, and give thanks for Coventry Cathedral’s world-wide Ministry of Reconciliation.

We look forward to meeting you there!
There will be light refreshments after the service, so to help with our planning we encourage

you to register at: www.friendsoftheholyland.org.uk/coventry or email: office@friendsoftheholyland.org.uk
